Since the Mirage came out in Thailand two years ago, the following major problems have been reported (as far as I know):
- Fuel tank sensor recall (drivers running out of fuel due to erroneous reading)
- ABS sensor recall (preventive - I've never heard of anyone actually experiencing issues)
- CVT starter engagement problem (addressed with warranty repairs - never heard of it occurring recently)
...and aside from some paint-related issues reported here, I think that's pretty much it, and they've all been resolved by the manufacturer a while back.
What impresses me about the Mirage overall is that it's just a very well-thought out design. It is an honest-to-goodness cheap car but a lot of consideration has been given as to where to cut costs, instead of just shaving the last 10c out every single component.
