Lol, just about everytime I try for good efficiency my 'need for speed' gets the better of me and my typical 21mile commute to work nets only about 44.x MPG.
Which is great, except by the standards of this community

I'm assuming 5spd manual, clutch in or shift to N for coast? Or CVT coast in neutral?
My best was one way on 30 mi commute doing nothing special. Slight elevation drop calm cool morning with no traffic and last 9 km at 70km/h or 45mi/h 3.9 L/100km or 60.3 mpg US in a CVT. Have not been able to duplicate so interested in your details.
