They should make a rear sway bar standard . Wouldn't add that much $ to the price and help the feel of the car to new buyers .

    Out of curiosity:
Is this a US habit to have a revised car released every year?

Most of the changes appear surgical at the most (not only with the Mirage, or course)

I don't know what they call it, but it seems cars get refreshed every 5 years or so, but there are minor changes every model year. I've been looking at the Honda Fit, for example, and the newest one has a different engine and transmission, and key dimensions have changed. That, to me, is a redesigned model, while the minor changes in packaging or little tweeks to fix concerns (such as a sway bar, for example) are typical each year. They aren't trying to call it the "all new" 2015 Mirage, after all.

I wonder if the antenna will still be flexible - I broke one with a canoe.

I think they're called cross years.

Usually from time to time cars go through face lifts. Little cosmetic and mechanical changes

    This. They are called facelifts.

For example, I came from the Tiburon world. There are only 2 actual models.
1999-2002, the all wavey bug-eyed one most people instanly recognize.
2003-2008, new model was introduced in 2003. Facelift(F/L) was done 2005-2006, they put on a different front bumper and headlights. Facelift2(F/L2) was done 2007-2008, they put on a different front and rear bumper, new lights all around and new front fenders..

So for the Mirage, since this car was a total relaunch, it is a new model. The 2015 changes would be a facelift. In the car/tuning world, the 2015 would now be called the Mirage(F/L)

    Rooks the same to me.

I do, however, like the subtle changes.

I agree .. side mirrors looks good, and I also prefer the 2014's longer front antenna.

Nice, tasteful updates. The side mirror indicators are a classy touch. I liked the quirkiness of the huge antenna on '13, but I guess this new one is my in sync with the Mirage's competition.

Even though journalists hated it, I'm sad to see the purple upholstery go on the ES. The new gray color is dull, but the seats still look pleasant.

I am disappointed that Mitsu hasn't seemed to do anything with the suspension and adding a rear sway bar. This is the Mirage's biggest fault, and could cost them a few customers until it's addressed
