Also, even with 185 series tire, the ASC was still engaging... Granted, my tires are at 50% and the roads were damp... Just goes to show how light the car is and how sufficient the power:weight ratio is.
Back story: I have been in Scottsdale, Arizona since Saturday and missed Bae. After going to the club last night, a couple of stoplights called for a couple of hard launches, quick shifts, and my heavy foot.
The '13/'14 CVT sentra I borrowed got my left foot bored.
I also noticed:
that with a little work, I can shift the car as smoothly as an automatic - almost even CVT like.
that when on 'go fast' mode, I can shift the car seemingly as fast as a PDK/dual clutch.
The latter of the two is made possible (I believe) by the high clutch friction zone. Halfway into the clutch, I am already out of the previous gear, making my way to the next. By full clutch, I'm already pushing the gas to prep for gear engagement.
Can't wait to strip the car, put rollbars, and suspension work.
This.
We have the same dream, brother.
