Also consider the competitor of Fumoto that is called EZ drain valve. Sometimes they have a significantly cheaper price. For my motorcycle it was going to be $25 for a Fumoto or $18 for a EZ drain valve.
On the Mirage I have a fumoto because I did not know about the competing company at the time. These valves are fantastic and you can reuse them in future cars, they last a lifetime.
Cry once. By the way I see the Walmart SuperTech brand full synthetic was only like $14 for a 5 quart jug and that is supposed to be the "everyday low price" so I would just go with that to not have to deal with mail in rebates and so forth.
But I am straight for like 6 years of oil changes with what I currently have hoarded away.

Well, I'm going to be ordering 4 valves, 2 for Mirages and 2 for my Burgmans so a decent savings x 4 will help out.

In principle you are correct, but:
In hot weather, the engine oil gets hotter than in winter. Many cheaply made engines have very little heat exchange between water and oil. Some even have practically none, and the oil gets very hot on the highway, but good enough for city runabouts. Some engines reach highway oil temps over 120°C or even up to 150°C at high revs, thats very bad.
Concerning our cars, I ran a temporary oil thermometer on mine for a while, and can definitely say there is an excellent heat exchange between water and oil. In winter the oil warms up quicker than in most other engines, and in the summer on the highway oil never exceeds water temperature. Just perfect and as it should be!

not that any of the WWII engineers that worked on the Zero fighter and engines are still around, but the Mits archives are probably full of data on the relationship of oil temp to ambient temp, considering fighters fly around in temps from 35c to -40C routinely and the oil in an air-cooled radial can't be allowed to get too cold or hot.

Hi all. Quick question. Is it ok to use this oil on Mirage? On the store they struggling a little bit to find the "correct" 0w20 oil. Looking for the Specs on the manual I think it matches. Please let me know if there is some reason to avoid to use this oil. For what I have searched the ACEA A1/B1 was replaced by the ACEA C5 https://www.oilspecifications.org/ar...welcome-c5.php, so, the user manual looks like that was never updated since 2012 as on all manuals that I found here https://mitsubishi-motors.co.uk/manu...wners-manuals/ all have the same text. Thanks in advance!

You're good to use that oil. It's API is SN. Don't overthink it too much.
