I am the same way, had trouble reading too, lol. But I found the economy B guage instructions:
    https://mirageforum.com/forum/showth...ll=1#post10497

    "
    EDIT:
    From the Odometer screen:
    1st push: Trip Meter A
    2nd push: Trip Meter B
    3rd push: light adjustment
4th push: Distance to empty --------- Hold on the button here and you will be toggled from fuel consumption gauge A (auto-reset gauge) to B (manual reset gauge)
5th push: AVG fuel consumption (MPG or KM/L"

So basically on the 4th screen right before the Avg MPG A, hold the button down and it will go into B mode for AVG. To return to it (A mode), I think you press it 4 more times (less than 1 second each) to get to the distance to empty screen again, then hold it down for 1+ seconds to return to the AVG mpg A guage.

Counting button pushes caused me some confusion. The number of times the MID button is pushed depends on several factors, one of which is if the vehicle lights are turned on, which brings up a interior light dimmer function. Once I figured out the display, I quit counting button pushes.

I was able to find my B odometer and was in for a little surprise: Name: IMG_20200118_150858.jpg

Size: 91.1 KB The average of 8100 miles on my car. Higher than I thought- 1 month of summer, 4 months of fall, 1 month of winter weather.

    Nice! Glad you located it.

Whoever designed the user interface of the Multi Information Display was taking FAR too many puffs while working on it. It's stupidly unintuitive.

Mines horrible, B was 6.4l/100(35.6mpg) then I reset it on accident trying to switch It to US to get a pic....didn’t get near 400km on the last tank.

I almost accidentally reset my B mode when toggling back to A mode- I reset the A-mpg by accident when I was toggling back, but fortunately that resets anyways. It's nice to know how well it runs. This G4 chart showing the decreasing mpg with speed is quite illustrative, even if a little less efficient than the hatchback. It's a little impractical/illegal/unsafe to drive at 30mph everywhere, so it is interesting that I could get in the 70mpgs if there were only roads with few stop signs and a 30mph speed limit. I like the low RPMS anyways, though I am happy with near 50 driving at 50 when appropriate.

I seem to have the second worst avg fuel economy in North America according to the forum fuel log. Only behind Go4th. My excuse is weather and idling it more than necessary in -30. It's still cheaper to run than anything I've owned in the last 15 years though.

At least your Mirage will start at -30!

I'm driving a friend's plug-in Prius today and just learned the car will not even power up if the battery pack internal temperature gets to -30 or colder! The only solution is to let it warm up.

Build a fire underneath it? Yeah!

Size: 93.4 KB my first attempt at high mpgs had the sideview mirrors tucked a/c off and never exceeded 60mph.
