Thank you. I can drive a stick, but my doctor told me not to, and my wife got word of what the doctor said so no more sticks for me. So, when I bought my Mirage, I bought one with the CVT.

Yes,wishing a quick recovery! If it was me,I would attach a rod/lever to the clutch pedal for left hand operation.

Kind of how they do it for the brakes/throttle in vehicles to be driven by handicapped/disabled people that I see from time to time.

I just got new non-LRR tires on it so gas mileage is down a bit, but I have had a few 45+ mpg tanks. 43MPG on a trip isn't out of the question if I drive it right. Just had it aligned as the rear tires were horrible. They were toed out so bad it ate the OE tires in 30K miles!

It takes a while to learn how to drive a car. I learned that coasting in neutral isn't ideal for the Focus, but letting DFCO do its thing. The car also experienced a pretty significant jump in mileage a bit past 15,000 miles. Apparently it took a while for it to 'break in'.

car has now done a mere 345 miles since new, general running about so far has not exceeded 20 miles (one way) on any journey, and I am running in for the first 1000 miles at speeds not exceeding 62 mph, I regularly get 59/62 mpg on these shot runs, mainly in slightly hilly country in my home area, today 2 x 18 mile journeys took pictures of display after arriving home, just 55.9 mpg todayName: DSCF3693.jpg
