    Everything old is new again:

Mitsubishi Attrage to Be Sold As Rebadged Chrysler in China

The car Chrysler intends to rebadge and sell in China later this year is actually a Mitsubishi Attrage ... According to Nikkei, the Mitsubishi-Chrysler partnership will be officially announced sometime next week.

Makes one wonder if they're planning to resurrect the U.S. re-badging effort as well... Chrysler has no subcompact sedan...

Haha... ahhh Chrysler. I guess its good for both of them. Chrysler actually gets a quality car, and Mitsu sells more Mirages.
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

Well that's interesting. Didn't see that coming.

Doesn't look like the Mirages are having too many problems - selling a rebadged Mirage should help their quality rankings.

Chrysler products are pure garbage - the worst on the American roads. Looks at the JD Power surveys, Chrysler products are always the bottom. Selling junk Chrysler products will not be good for Mitsubishi, especially since they may start doing really well again.

It will be extremely bad for Mitsubishi if they start selling sub-par Chrysler products again.

The official Press Release from Mitsubishi Motors Corporation:
    http://www.mitsubishi-motors.com/pub...etaile627.html

    Tokyo, June 27, 2014

Regarding report in the media about OEM supply of compact cars from Mitsubishi Motors Corp.

Today there was a report in the media regarding OEM supply of compact cars from Mitsubishi Motors. The content of the report is not based on anything announced from MMC and is based on speculation.
Does it have to do anything with this news?

Why are they selling them as Chryslers? Why not just sell them as Mitsubishis. They are made not far away in Thailand.

We've owned a 96 Grand Cherokee, 2000 Grand Cherokee, 2004 grand Cherokee, 2008 Liberty, 2011 compass, and now a 2014 Grand Cherokee. All of them have been reliable and problem free.
