Thanks for posting that one.
Just to clarify, they're reviewing the Australian spec Micra with the relatively efficient 1.2L 3-cyl engine.
In Canada, the "new" Micra only comes with the 1.6L 109 hp 4-cylinder from the Versa/Note, which makes it way more "fun to drive" than the Mirage. So far, I haven't seen a single negative media review of the Micra.
