Thread: 2015 Nissan Micra vs. 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage - kyleregan.net

Yeah, I picked up a Civic. I've been looking for a winter car so I don't have to drive my Metro/Firefly in the salt (at 17 years old in great shape with only 34k km on the clock, it's earned some pampering).

I was looking for any kind of 3 or 4-cyl, 5-speed beater in the $0-$1500 range, but found a high miles '07 Civic 5-speed for double my budget, but at a very decent price, so went for that instead. I'll sell it next spring/summer and probably look for something else.

One of these years, a used Mirage will be on my list.

Don't know where to add, but:
Andy Palmer, Chief Planning Officer, Nissan Motor Corporation said, "We have some supply relationships with Suzuki in Japan but generally speaking our small car will be basically coming from Mitsubishi."

At 30k now, my Mirage does sounds better on higher revs, I love revving it to 6k while not having to worry about speeding (unlike my other car)

I love the 'three-pot putter' my exhaust has.

don't read too much into it, this is a Pixo key car, smaller than sub-compact Mirage. So it is Mitsubishi "i" or rather eK car not Mirage. eK is already sold as Nissan Dayz, so it makes sense.

Sooo...Nissan is doing poorly in India, and instead of sourcing their future Indian-market vehicles from Suzuki they will now source them from Mitsubishi? Did I read this right? I wonder what Mitsubishi Nissan will be selling there?

Me too, with almost 8k miles now the low resonance "growl" is a little more pronounced with no raspy sharpness like a 4 cylinder has.
