According to Mototrend, the Mirage is one of the most low-tech cars available today ... I consider that a huge plus in its favor!

Although it was mentioned, the Mirage was quickly dropped from the list because of some 'high-tech' standard features - which includes power side mirrors.
Either way, again, for the price, the Mirage's standard features are great.
It's surprising that they consider power mirrors "high tech" today.

Yeah.. the "seek/autotune" feature on the radio must really put it over the top technologically.
; )
Will weld for beer.

I would say a Jetta "base". It comes in below the "S" and isn't really advertised. It has power windows and locks but no A/C, radio or cruise and an 8-valve SOHC 2-liter (no VVT) that dates from the early '90s.
They've updated it with a multilink rear end, but when this generation was launched it had a twist beam in the back.
That's really bare.

Do they still sell that model?
The current generation of Versa has manual windows, no power locks and a basic HVAC system.
Back when the Versa came with no A/C or radio, I tried to get one. Wasn't able to.
That car makes me cry. Haha.
