    My car has the same plastic thing. I think it's a charcoal canister.

    The car actually gets to 88mph (141 kph) without much fuss. Well, you'd need lots of road, but it may actually be faster than the original DeLorean!

    The Mirage is so efficient, it doesn't need much.

    This is unpublished, of course. No telling if their new factory can accommodate the inrush of sales once word gets out about this.

    It's part of emission control, to absorb fuel vapor then released to engine, then burned.
    In some countries it's located bellow spare tire compartment.
