Nice Ares
Thanks for that
Just knowing that something like that exists opens up a lot of possibilities.

My "shift pattern" is different. It appears to be a mirror image. Would it still work?

It's very possible... if, when the cover is removed, the shifter is spring loaded to left and right (return to center) equally or if the spring is easily reversible (i assume it is for ease of manufacture) it would work just fine.
There really is no need though as ours (mine, anyway) is already lighted from the factory.

That looks pretty nice.
Makes me wonder... could I do a real leather shift boot for my 5-speed?? I should try. You've inspired me.
I can give you the indonesian wiring diagram if you want to,...

These things are awesome. It's how I hard-wired my Garmin GPS unit and dash camera in my Mirage. I bought aftermarket lighter sockets for both and wired them up with one of these "piggyback" add-a-circuit adapters. Ran it off of the rear wiper fuse, which is conveniently on the bottom right-hand edge of the fuse panel and is switched 12v power. The sockets are tucked neatly up under the dash near the fuse panel and are out of view.
Just be sure to put the 20 amp fuse for the rear wiper in the right slot, and make sure to use a fuse with the proper amperage for your accessory. I think I used 7.5 amps for the camera and GPS unit.
