My older brother and I had a 1979 VW Rabbit back in '92. We built a big box for 2 MTX Road Thunder Pro 12" subs that fired at the back hatch window running off of an Autotek 44 amp. I remember riding down Texas Avenue one day jamming out to DJ Magic Mike when the sound suddenly changed. We pulled over to find the back hatch glass had blown out! Good times, good times.
