Asian versions don't use zippers for the seat upholstery. They use some kind of hard strip that tucks to a strip pocket on the other end.

I don't know what it's called though but I was able to untuck the strip, if that makes sense.

The zipper is tucked away in the corner, you have to locate it and pull it out to see it. No pull out, no see. It is in the corner and on the same side as the airbag.
The strip goes horizontally across all the way between left and right. Look a bit closer and you will find.
