    Cool phantom gear shift?

Our CVT transmission has a high and low primary gear, then the CVT on top of that. This is what allows the car to turn high rpms at low speed, and turn low rpms at high speed.
Can you prove that? Because I Always thought it was the lock up kicking in. In fact, I still think that is what it is.

My owner's manual said something about that.

Ok, I am convinced! Thank you!

I looked through the video and the comments. I can definitely say that my 2015 EU spec Mirage does NOT have Idle neutral logic. It always creeps forward when in "D" and the engine is running. It has Hill assist though. It never creeps backwards, no matter how steep the hill.

Mine creeps forward when in D as well with the engine running. Mine has hill assist too, but it will only hold the car still on a hill for a couple of seconds after taking my foot off of the brake.

In regards to the locks. You can manual change the setting so one click of fob unlocks all doors plus hatch.

Its a sequence of keys on the fob. Its right out of the owners manual.

Just waiting till its a tad warmer than -25C to change it.

Read the manual front to back. Lots of cool stuff in there!!

One my wife and I noticed today:

Have all the doors locked. Pull the lever inside the car to open the driver's door, and it unlocks.

None of the other doors do this. You have to unlock them, then open them.

This is a base model (US) mirage, with a key, not the proximity and pushbutton setup.

I have the FOB key thing. That is how my doors act when they are locked, only driver handle being pulled unlocks them all.

No no. The drivers handle will open and unlock only the driver's door. The other three doors, you have to move the lock knob doodad then pull the handle... or just hit the power lock switch and unlock them all that way.
