I always set the parking brake on my Mirage; I've noticed that if I don't get the handle all the way down, it will eventually ring a little bell, not right away. It's good to have that; the Kia Sedona does the same thing if the parking brake pedal is not all the way up.

Good to know. One thing I figured was if you drive with your foot on gas and brake at the same time it will kill power/cut throttle out after a few seconds.

My 2015 Chevy Impala (driver's education car) will create a sound if the parking brake is not released. It's a foot operated parking brake. I've not noticed it my Mirage, but I am pretty automatic about checking it before taking off. Good stuff to know!

Is it only mine or do your cars get dented very easily? I've only had the car for a month and already got 2 small dings from falling objects. I'm starting to not care about comestic damages as long as it runs lol

I literally just had 14 dings done by a PDR Mobile. I concur it dents easy. I think as easy as going through a touch carwash.

Yeah, I've had lots of little dings and dents in my Mirage; the skin is very thin. Of course, these cars are very light; that's why they get such good mileage. My Mirage is so light, I'm afraid it will roll over if I sneeze out the window.

Going through an automatic car wash with strong blow dryers can scare a person in a Mirage.
