    Whoa! That's the first I've seen with a plate blocking the access. Might have to remove the center console to remove the plate and "discard" it appropriately.

    That's what the center console was mounted to. I've only had this car for 4 months so I have no idea what has been changed lol

    It looks like if you remove that 10mm? bolt you should be able to remove the metal plate cover.
