These are higher than the estimated fuel economy . Yes , aware the '15 FIT is different . Should do better .

Canoehead, how many years did it take to decide that you wanted to buy your Focus?
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

Maybe a good wack to the back of the head with a paddle will help make that decision .

Alright you two. That's enough of that! First of all, buying the Focus was easy - My 1991 Olds was running well, but some liar at the transmission shop said it could go at any moment, and I was heading to the Yukon that summer. As fate would have it, a good friend was moving and selling the Focus so I knew it was well taken care of. I've never bought a new car, and never got rid of a car I thought was still viable.

As for the decision. I had already decided on the Mirage. I went to the dealer in spring certain I was buying one for the full price of $13k. Then I took offense to the added fees and went home in a huff to pout (and rant on the internet). I'm calmer now, but still like to hold a grudge until it is good and well gone. I'm thinking spring, and if I forgive the Mitsubishi folks for their lack of transparency I'll likely get the Mirage. Otherwise the Fit might be the winner (will I pay $4000 more + more gas for foolish pride? That is a possibility!). I have plenty of reasons to get either, so am sure I can make a compelling argument why one is far superior to the other!

I have an excel spreadsheet that I used to track mpg vs MID mpg on my 2009 Honda Fit, but I can' figure out how to post it here. Does anybody know how to attach an Excel (.xlxs) file?

Why would you want to do that? We have a fuel log here, copy paste them here or you can add as screenshot

OK here we go should be an Excel/spreadsheet file here.

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5r...ew?usp=sharing

OK it works, there's a lot of data there, but just notice the mpg vs mid readings.! Also the 37.77 lifetime mpg.
