1st oil change!!!

Did my 1st oil change 4,000 miles. Oil was a little dirty and down just a bit. Used mobil 1 0-20 full synthetic oil with a WIX oil filter# 51356. I went with this oil filter as I wanted one with the anti-drain back feature. Got a case of these off ebay pretty cheap. Ended up being around $5.00 each. Now when I start the cold engine, I do not have that metal grinding sound for the first couple of seconds that really irritated me. Don't know if that was bad for the motor, but I did not like the way it sounded. New filter cleared that up and I am happy! I will change the oil every 5,000 miles from now on.

Which Mobil1 Synthetic did you get? Advanced Fuel Economy or Extended Performance?

Got the Advanced Fuel Economy stuff. I plan on changing the oil every 5,000 miles so this should work out good for me.

damn i have to bring the car for checkup and oil change soon, 33500 km already. 40k will be the 2nd oil change. Using Kroon 0W20 at the last oil change.
