    "Eco" dummy light

What is this for? Just to remind me that I'm not accelerating at the time?

Typically it comes on when you hit vacuum, ie off throttle in most cases. Someone a bit more familiar may chime in on this.

    Mine too!

I think its a very simple trigger circuit that's merely in place to discourage people to drive with a heavy foot, and it's also something they can state as a "feature". But all joking aside, it is a handy guideline for those who aren't too familiar with conservative driving habits.

Too bad we don't get the Euro/Japan style lights:

More resolution/usefulness than an idiot light.

I think the eco light is a pretty cool feature. It reminds me to take it easy so I get better gas mileage, lol...

You can turn it off 'permanently' by going over (approx.) 78mph. No matter what you do with the throttle if you're over 78 it stays off; I guess Mistubishi decided anything over 78 and you're not being ECO.
    ゼロ

If you get it up to 88mph, the flux capacitor light comes on, and you can travel through time.
