Largest rim possible on the Mirage

Next summer I want to do something insane, 16x9/16x10 Work meister with coilovers setup.

Anyone know what's the largest rim we can put on our little mirage?

Can fit anything. Just will poke like crazy.
7 to 7.5 is the max without poking from the guard, 7 is flush with good offset.

Why not 16x7/8 with some crazy negative offset? Then you can probably just do a roll and pull and either tuck it or go flush.

Borrowed a pic of a mph officer/member here in the philippines.

He has 17's on his mirage with lowered springs. The bottom pic is the one currently installed on his ride (i think)

I think 17 would be utterly utterly max. On this car. But due to the extremely soft suspension i think you have to replace stock shock damper as well

Wouldn't negative offset make the wheel stick out even further?
And the way to gain negative camber in the rear is rather dodgey, due to the torsion rear bar our car has.

    Yup. Those do look good.

Not for daily though. Esp not in Houston roads.
