Tein lowering springs on sale on Amazon.co.jp

I'd order a set of these for myself, but unfortunately they don't ship outside of Japan, and I have no idea how to navigate through shipping services and all that.

    http://www.amazon.co.jp/TEIN-%E3%83%.../dp/B00BHUR820

The price comes out to about $66 USD, which is less than half the price of most other places.

What a steal, that is an incredibly low price. Still holding out for a better product than what is currently offered.

These have a 30mm (1.18") drop with 140 lbs/in front and 117 lbs/in rear spring rates. Not a very firm rate, but not too soft either. I went ahead and used an ordering service, and I'm hoping the international shipping isn't an arm and a leg!

I'm reluctant to buy springs without changing the shocks/struts... These things need way better dampening.

OMG that is insane pricing indeed! for this car, id say something in the range of $750-$950 would be acceptable.

Update: I got the shipping quote from Tenso (the ordering/shipping service) and the shipping charge is around $117, which puts the total cost around the same as any other good set of springs, so no money is actually being saved. I'm cancelling the order, and probably going to look into getting a set of H&R springs, since these ones are actually one of the softer spring sets.

That may be my birthday gift for myself. Now that I'll be making a little more money (accepted a job offer last week), I'll finally be able to buy some toys for this car.
