Review from U.K. owner (1.2L Mirage 3 with CVT)

So apparently not ALL U.K. drivers think the Mirage is one of the top 10 worst cars!

What does this car say about you?
I follow my head not the crowd.

What's most practical about your car?
Outstanding mpg, surprising amount of interior space.

What's it like to drive?
Very easy and comfortable, it's no sports car, but if you want a sporty drive buy a sports car. The cvt is smooth and responsive, and the engine is willing making it a real pleasure to drive. I previously had diesel MINIs and I am glad I made the switch, as is my back!

Interestingly, his favourite feature is one that's not offered outside of the UK/Europe: parking sensors.

Overall he gave it 4 or 5 out of 5 stars in each category.

I installed a set of aftermarket parking sensors (beepers) for €16 (about $10) in round about one hour. Makes me wonder why they are not standard, can't be a cost factor.

I know why they are not standard in the US. In a comparison with Europe where lots of cars are parked parallel, few Americans
have to park parallel. It has been months since I have had to park parallel and that only happens when I go into downtown Dallas. I doubt my daughter could even do it even though it is part of all drivers' tests.
Just got back from London however and saw vehicles parking in the tightest of spaces-sensors would have been very helpful. Here they are just an option. When I was looking for our Mirage I only saw one vehicle with the sensor option.
