Only problem I have had in six months and 13,000 miles is discolored lug nuts. On one wheel. And one wheel only...

    Driver's front looked like this...

Replaced under warranty. Other than this and a (still) janky Ipod connection, the car has been rock solid.

Looking at the two photos the top of the rusty lug nuts looks slightly different compared to the top of the unrusted nuts.

More dome shaped tops on the rusty ones, wonder if they were swapped?

The dealership, Bruce Titus Olympia Mitsubishi, replaced them...no questions asked. I suppose they could have been replaced before I got the car...as I thought it was strange that it was just this one wheel with the problem...but as far as I know I bought my Mirage "right off the boat".

They had to bring it in from another dealership further north, Karmart Mitsubishi in Burlington, WA, and apparently Karmart had just received my car as inventory.

MetroMPG, the steering wheel was not centered, the car didn't pull left or right it just wasn't straight Gillman Mitsubishi said the 12mo/12000mile adjustment part of the warranty covered a complete alignment (which the mechanic said it needed) and straightened the steering wheel.

Having registered with Mitsubishi Motors I get emails with free services all the time like a free computerized diagnostic scan to see if there are any issues forming, with a retail value of $49.95 free. Discounts on other services also if needed.
