Does anyone have any first hand experience on the TEIN coilovers?

Aren't these non-adjustable in terms of damper? And also, I believe someone said they were a little soft and not exactly suitable for track?

I'm pretty eager to purchase these but I don't want to be disappointed..

The question is: are they softer than the stock one? Highly doubt that.

Since the car itself is not suited for track use, getting these would still improve the car's dynamics.

That's true, the only thing that really holds me back is that these TEINs are not rebuildable, so even if someone were to try to go for a more aggressive setup one day, they would have to find another set rather than simply re-valving and grabbing some swift springs or something.

Would you rather the 3k full adjustable coilovers then?

For us who just want a "better than stock" ride, this should be better than just swapping out the springs.

Just unsure whether or not the coming aftermarket will provide a better option. I would like to apologize if my post seemed overly critical or I offended you somehow.

LoL dude. Don't take the interwebs so seriously.

There is a thread on here somewhere that lists the various available suspension upgrades. For 1k though, I think this one should do the job - even for the weekend race warrior. I don't think it will get any better than these.

Although, honestly, all I wanted were some upgraded struts/shocks. There are a few lowering springs out for these cars but absolutely nothing on the strut/shock department.

How about this, when I get them I'll review them for you.

Haha, I just felt like you had a pretty harsh day given the other thread and didn't want to somehow end up aggravating someone without meaning to do it :P

And that'll be great! I'll be sure to keep an eye out for a review thread. Hopefully they perform a lot better than anything else that can be found on the market.
