    Three Pot Turbo Coming

    Got your attention! At the L.A. Auto Show, that is currently going on, Mitsubishi USA displayed a concept car that may predict the direction of future product development. The PHEV SUV has as its gas engine a 1.1 liter three pot turbo engine that develops 134 hp!!! No doubt it derives from the Mirage engine. So the odds of a turbo Mirage have improved. Dream of a Mirage EVO or a coupe/roadster? Could happen.

    I would buy a Mirage EVO if they could keep the price somewhat reasonable.

    The 1.1 turbo has been mentioned before in concept (not shown at a show I don't think). My guess is we'll see it in the 2nd gen Mirage.

    131 hp in a Mirage would make it quite peppy.

    If we're going to get a higher power engine, my guess is we'll see it in the sedan first.
