I should have bought a 2000 Metro along with my 2000 Dodge Ram. I didn't know anything about the Metro at that time. Nothing.

I actually got it at some shady second hand dealer. Was prob bought at an auction. Was in need of attention but got her looking much better now without to much effort. I actually just picked up a set of mini Cooper imola wheels from a junkyard this morning.
Welcome killerrudy!
Congrats on the shady dealer purchase. Been there, done that.
The Mirage looks good on Mini wheels... another member has done it.

$1888 for a top spec 2014 5-speed with 197k km = 122k miles.
This is about 2.5 hours from me. I'd be going to look if I was in the market. This is a great little car up for sale here people. Comes with 2 sets of tires. Has remote car start and comes with 2 sets of keys/fobs. Nicely equipped and is super economical to drive. Will not last long at this bargain price of $1888.00. The first person with cash in hand can drive it home. Call or text 289-939-8811. Cheers.

$1888 = $1475 USD
That car would cost 3 times that much here, & it may not be a fully loaded manual either.
Here's one approximately the same year/mileage, & it is listed over 5 times the cost -

If flipping Canadian MIrages to the States was easier, there could be some money to be made.
The $1888/$1475 Mirage is most likely a private sale, which helps. Finding a deal like that here would be difficult, especially with a manual. A good number of manual listings aren't even manuals when you look at the pics.
