Remember that purple scratch 'n' dent special 2015 in Quebec that was last advertised at $2400? (So sad it was so far away):
Attachment 20495
Attachment 20496
It's baa-aaaaaaack!
I'm 100% certain this is the same car, just popped up for sale in a different town, now with a freshly replaced and badly-colour-matched quarter panel and rear bumper cover.
Same dealership decal, same odometer reading, same trim level. Same car. He didn't even bother to replace the missing RR wheel cover that was also shown in the previous ad.
Asking $4500!! Nice mark-up if he can get it.

I wonder if this guy did something like buy pre-painted body parts from a website like this: Painted Auto Body Parts
There's no way buying pre-painted parts this way are going to match well...but it's not a bad option to get a beater back on the road.

I bought a front bumper cover for a 2013 Yaris from there. It did not match the car at all...
-Karl B. No Mirages currently...
I keep seeing ads for this hunt parts place on kijiji. Oddly enough they're in Quebec. https://www.huntparts.ca/

I'd rather the rear bumper come in black. With some color Mirages, I don't think that would look all that bad. Especially if I was trying to save money (high deductible or only have liability insurance). I'd rather have a black bumper over one that doesn't match. May as well go big in the mismatch department. A black Mirage may be out of luck with my approach, however.
I know this isn't a cheap mirage but if this ad is legit it looks like a smoking deal for a 64 impala. I know there are a bunch of guys in Ontario. It's probably a scam but you never know.... https://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars...9389?undefined
Edit: It could be legit. 8hrs ago the same person posted a dirt cheap holiday trailer with the same divorce story. But if it sounds too good to be true...

64 impala ss for $2800. Ad said it was bought for her husband and now they’re divorced and he’s in Australia. It was listed 5 mins before I posted here. It was either a scam or one pissed of ex wife who didn’t care about money.

I see this one is still on kijiji 2014 es cvt with 80,000kms listed as mechanic special with no price. I just messaged them asking what's wrong and what they want for it. It's been on their lot for weeks already.

I need another Mirage like a hole in my head but if the price is right....
Edit: It's sold.
And not to me.
