I just did a build and price on Mitsubishi's site, looks like you can get a pole dancer 5 speed special for $11334 all in. Including tax, pdi, even $100 air conditioning tax!https://shop.mitsubishi-motors.ca/build/model
It looks like the es limited model is only a few hundred doll hair more than the es with the $4000 'plus' package added on.

I paid $12,495 + taxes, + freight, 1 option the pearl paint, and the total cost of a 2.9% interest loan. I think that was another $1,100.
So you add it up and it becomes an 18k car.
They get you when you're desperate. I needed a car, and my Ford Escort was almost pooched.
I saw an ad for the Mirage randomly on TV, literally while getting my last wisdom tooth pulled.. so in minor dental surgery. Tv on the ceiling.
What better way to spend a dopey day than test drive a new car?

I thought you were making a joke...I guess not!
Air Conditioning Recovery Fee
This tax is paid by the manufacturer to the federal government at the time the vehicle is sent to the dealer. The manufacturer sometimes passes this cost on to the dealer separate from the MSRP of the vehicle and the dealer then passes the cost along to the consumer. This is part of the price the dealer is asking for the vehicle and not a consumer tax. This should be made clear to a buyer and should not be represented as a consumer tax.

Don't forget the tax tax! The AC tax is part of the total price on which you then pay the HST (combined provincial / federal sales tax)
