This is one of the cheapest one's I've found local so far: A 15 es(plus?) cvt 100k km/60k miles $5k($3800freedom dollars/bald eagles) https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/...-es/1463627741
I wonder what ever happened to tyrel and his blown cvt and if he'd sell it?

what's in the center air outlets? fortune cookies?
and is it just me, or does the hood to front bumper gap seem larger than normal?

Looks like some weird folded air fresheners? Must smell like ass. The hood gap is probably from ramming the bottom of the rad support back. It twist's the bumper down and creases the top rear corners sometimes. It's hard to tell if it's aftermarket or not, we've got a few that are and the bumper isn't cut out where the emblem mounts so it just mounts on the surface.

Now that I'm actually looking for a cheap Mirage under $4000 there's none to be found

They will appear when you'e not looking for one.
I spent the summer on life support in the ICU and when I got home getting another Mirage was the furthest thing from my mind. That is, until I caught the chatter over the $2000 one, which dropped to $1750. The next thing I know it's sitting in my driveway insured and ready to go.

I don't think he wants any of the ones that have been thrashed by the delivery drivers hahaha

The only ones that we've gotten rid of were bare shells that I stripped down to nothing. And yeah, probably wouldn't want one of these anyways. Some are taken better care of than others though and if the price was right I'd grab one. Worst case cvt blows, I'm sure I could source a used one for $500 easy enough. I need to drive some Mirage's a little more first. Saving gas would be great but our Optima is way nicer to drive overall and not bad on fuel, easily get under 8l/100km(29mpg(us) in town without trying hard. But that car and it's payments are gone tonight so I'll be driving a fuel pig or my truck til I get something else.
I found what looked like a decent 06 Jetta tdi , but just found that it may have some automated manual transmission and not a conventional automatic? I'll avoid those like the plague.
