I wonder why it's so cheap? Maybe it smells a little funny inside.

While not the cheapest Mirage, this one looks like an ok deal compared to anything else around here at the moment.
It has the options I'd want, ac, keyless entry and 4 power windows and crap I wouldn't pay more for but I'd use since it's there like carplay and bluetooth. To get ac prior to 2020 you had to buy the plus package for an extra $4000 to get ac, or keyless entry. So to buy the same optioned car (2019) you'd be looking at $15000 right now. Plus the extra dealer fees that get tacked on at signing. I can see how people end up paying close to 20k for a new Mirage. Finance for 84 months and yer golden....
A 2018 5Spd es-plus with 24k km/15 miles for $10000. https://www.kijijiautos.ca/vip/12700084/ I'd offer $8000 all in otherwise still a bit higher than I'd pay for a cheap car.

I contacted the seller of the white base 2015 above (I'd prefer a base model). Lots of red flags!
He's "selling it for his boss", who is not even the original owner. Didn't reply to my question about maintenance history. It's not currently plated... but "we can borrow a dealer plate for test drives". He didn't explain this.
My guess is it's at a small garage that sells used cars on the side. (The sign behind the car advertises car repairs.) Maybe they picked it up cheap at auction or from a customer and they're flipping it.
The asking price was dropped to $3k, but that's still waaay too high considering those details (and lack of details) plus the high kms.

Yeah probably an auction car or someone brought it in for repairs and never paid the bill.
