Thread: Cheap used Mirages you've seen for sale?

  1. #1371
Ha! I hadn't even thought about it. Too many cars around here!

I actually just got rid of one recently - after a neighbour dropped a pretty obvious hint about property values.

Although that CVT would arguably raise the average value of my fleet... thus improving property values?

    $3k for a 2014 with only 68k km / 42k miles

"2014 Mitsubishi Mirage SE Gently driven and works well. Only 68,000 kms! 5 door hatchback, automatic, includes summer AND winter tires. Pre-safety tested. $3,000 or best offer."

Low km + winter tires + mechanical inspection makes that a really good deal in this neck of the woods.

That is a very good deal! That would be a great car for anyone, but it would be super great car for sending a kid off to college with or have a need for another car for multiple drivers in a family.

Unlike most used cars in that price range, this car would not be a money pit. It would offer very nice affordable transportation. Probably stating the obvious here!

$3,000 Canadian dollars = $2,305 USD That's cheap for a car that has a lot life left in it!

Trust me. If I had 2500 bucks I’d be driving that thing back here from Canada no questions asked

If there was a thread for overpriced Mirages I think I found a winner. 2015 Base model cvt with 80,000km/50,000 miles for only.....$11,888 plus taxes and fees and....What a bargoon! Someone threw some fancy rims on it so that's gotta worth about $5-7000 right there. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/...mus/1533721909 Attachment 19916

I can't seem to post pictures using the url anymore, it always says image too large

This one looks like it could be a decent buy for those willing to join the cvt club. 2017 with 32,000km loaded fancy model for $5500. Something looks strange with that front bumper though. Shouldn't the lower grille be black, not body colored? https://www.kijiji.ca/v-autos-camion...4117?undefined

Adding those rims to a base model car was actually a dealer option to move units. You could add them to base models since people hated the hub caps. Never knew that until I worked there as my wifes car came with rims and blue tooth for free.

Yup dealers do all sorts of things to jack up the price or make them fancier. Install remote starters, lift kits aftermarket wheels....

    As-is special - good deal

    2014 CVT with 128k kms / 80k mi....

Asking $2400! "As-is" sale, traded at a Toronto area Ford dealer.

Looks like the same situation as my two Mirage purchases: it's a trade-in that the receiving dealer wants nothing to do with, so they put it out back in the boneyard with an "as-is" special price.

No body damage. It's even clean, AND it comes with a set of winter tires on wheels.

If it were a manual, I'd be going to see it.

I don't know what the rules or stipulations about trading a car with someone from the US is but if you brought me that white one I'd let you take my stick blue one I fixed back with ya hahaha.
