Raybestos makes filters as well, you'd have to look for threads buried around here.
Just watch the pan gasket, some other makes(chevy spark for sure) use one less oil pan bolt. Other than filters and maybe a pan gasket you'll need 6L of cvt fluid that meets the J4 spec. I just use universal stuff. Oem juice is almost clear with a greenish tinge to it, the stuff I use isn't as clear as oem. It almost like diluted engine oil.
Appreciate the tips! Definitely will consider performing a CVT servicing just for piece of mind.

Sounds like a fun fleet! Was the R10 manual or auto?

More than a few members around here have fun toys in the garage, and use the Mirage as a cheap, oddball runabout.
They stopped making manual R8s for the 2nd generation, so it was S-Tronic. But it was a Rear Wheel Series edition which made the driving experience way better than awd

Well it was the same color so I can give you that 😂

What reason? The 125k miles or it has trouble starting up sometimes in the cold?

When it’s cold it turns off
It takes few attempts to get going
Worn out engine, or some minor tune-up item?

Roll the dice and find out!

Not the cheapest esp for the mileage IMO but definitely look decent. 5 speed w/ push button start is uncommon combo.

During 2014-15, the DE & ES had the option of a manual or a CVT, & the ES was the top trim level. Mitsubishi made the ES the base trim level in 2017 & beyond, which makes no sense to me.

2014-15 ES & 2017 SE would be the only manuals with push button start. Personally, I prefer a chip key over a fob that constantly sends out a signal. It cost less than $15 to purchase, cut, & program a third chipped key for my Mirage.

In today's market, this is a decent deal for a 2014 Mirage DE manual (under 62,000 miles) for $6,500.

Keep in mind a base Mirage has items like power windows, remote entry/power locks, & A/C in the States. The only glaring items missing would be cruise control in my opinion. That didn't become standard for all Mirages until 2019+ in the States.

If the story behind the car is legit, this would not be a bad deal for someone in the Milwaukee area. It would be a car with a lot of life left in it for the money.
