This could be updated, it seems like there's different trims for almost every year. For Canada'
es,se and convenience package for 2014,
    es,es with plus package,and se for 2015
es,es with plus package, and ??? for 2017 on....
Seems like you can only get a 5 speed in the lowest es model but can add the plus package still in 2019? I'm too lazy to look it all up.

I think here in the Philippines, there was also the GL version for G4.

Correct me if im wrong but GL i think is an entry level that has not much accessories that's why it was used here as taxis.

What is the difference between DE and ES for 2015 model in the US? The only information I can find is on this site
    https://www.miamilakesautomall.com/2...leather%20trim.

But their information is not accurate, as it says the ES includes "front room and cargo lights, a tachometer gauge cluster, a front door trim with pockets, a floor center console with cup holders", but my car has all that and it's a DE.

Mitsubishi (in their infinite wisdom) make their upper 2014-15 upper ES trim level their base trim level in 2017. Currently we have a ES, LE, SE, & GT in 2020.

In 2014-15, an upper trim level ES would have given you items like cruise control, backup camera, Blutooth, push button start, & alloy wheels. The base model DE would not have those features. I'm sure there is more & I may be a bit off on all this. This is a brief explanation of the difference.
