MPG variances in fuel log (trying to decide between used Prius or Mirage)

Have to agree with metro there.

However, the luxury of auto is always nice.

The mirage is a good choice, if anything were to go wrong with a hybrid system even one as bullet proof as the Prius expect to pay a lot. Get a ES with a 5 speed, the clutch is super soft, it's great even after I'm dragging my feet from 12 hours standing moving heavy boxes. Put 200k on it and replace it, as I'm sure your used to doing, by that time it will be getting a lot of wear items worn out and might even need a timing chain.
