Used Mirage 1.2L Engine and Transmission in Canada

Low miles and pretty cheap... this is just like a factory sealed crate engine, if the Mirage holds up to corrosion it might even be a good investment.

Don't do this to me... Now im going to want to build a mirage. If I could find a shell I would just wire the car myself using a standalone EMS and a display screen, leave no interior, a few bucket seats, then get to work building the motor

I wouldn't mind trying to bolt together a 3A92 into a stripped down metro!

I sent the seller a message asking about the ES wheels on that DE! I would love to have those TPMS sensors already inside of them too!

I wouldn't want to have to hack / gring / fab a metro just to get this engine / transaxle into it. Not to mention custom axles and most likely exhaust, and that is just to "drop it in" without it even running yet. I'd rather start from something I know will fit with no headaches.

Don't forget the ECU & wiring harness!

I thought it would be fun to drop a modern, efficient small engine into something like a Fiat/Bertone X19. But... who has time for another project? I've got too many already!

That is a really cool idea! I wonder how light you can get a X19, besides finding one in normal rotted out condition haha.
