I sold my stock tires when my car had 3,000 miles on it. The guy I sold them to questioned how many miles were on them as you could see the wear. At that point, I put a set of 175/65/14 tires on it. Right now, my car has a little over 12,000 miles with little to no wear visible on these new tires.

This is weird. Mine were at 36k and the fronts still had about 2-4k on them...

Are you guys seeing more front wear or rear wear?

Might have something to do with this: Rear Wheel Misaligned?
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

Update. I did the same 12K miles ago (175/65/14) and so far no visible wear either. I got my 4 tires at Walmart for about $200 out the door. Another nice thing is that they don't slowly lose air like the originals.
