Hello,

I am looking for a stable attachment point in the front side of the Mirage. Having remembered last years incident where my A-pillar cover popped off from wind gusts windshield cover popped off , I thought I take another look behind that plastic cover.

Here is what I've seen:
--without the cover one can spot a screw in the red circle and a hole next to the side airbag.

The lower screw seems to be the side-impact airbag anchor. The attached clip would be large enough to slip through a metal wire to which I could potentially attach my gear. Note: I would only attach it while the car is idle.

I have a couple of questions, concerns about that attachment point:
--How much load can I put onto this screw?
--How much load can I put on the metal clip?
--Can I unscrew this screw and insert my own metal clip? If yes, is there a nut on the other side that might pop off, when the screw is loose?

Here is a shot of the top hole, which is unused, but maybe too close to the airbag to play around.

I am curious about your thoughts.

All the best
