big 3 upgrade

have a question as i have noticed this so called big three upgrade for audio enthusiast.

does oumirage capable to do abig three upgrade?

i read somewhere that they say before doing the big 3 upgrade make sure if the alternator is an IC or regulator
type before connecting to the positive

Not sure what you mean by big 3 upgrade. Is this amp, speakers & subwoofer?

I know that connecting redundant wires from the alternator to battery and battery neg to the vehicle frame are two of the big three. I forgot what the third is. It theoretically improves elecricat efficiency for high draw sound systems. This is often debated.

Electrical load calculations can prove that theory on a case-by-case basis.

but is it safe ti do with the mirage? especially the alternator to the positive?

I wouldn't, but I don't have a need for an audio mod. I would have to study the circuit diagram to better understand this.

Some people say a grounding kit has benefits such as better throttle response. I had them on two of my Subarus. I honestly don't know if they made any difference.

Upgrading wiring is never going to hurt. It will lower resistance. However, will it lower it enough to make a difference? Not likely unless you are running a larger alternator. The OEMs have sized these things accordingly and while they will make mistakes from time to time, I've never bothered doing this on any of my vehicles.
