I don't think it is the speedometer. I think you get tailgated because you are driving a small, subcompact car.

There's drivers out there that have no respect for small cars or their occupants.

Yeah, there is that too. I don't care about tailgaters while in the truck, I'll usually end up winning that battle, but when in a tin can car I'm not so confident and drive around in the fetal position.

I see both sides, I don't tailgate. Usually. But I'm not a fan of people in whatever vehicle they're in that feel that it's their right to drive at whatever speed they want with no consideration for others around that don't want to drive 5-15k or mph under the speed limit. But a lot of the time it's old people who don't know whats going on 4' past the windshield so show a little respect. I'll get there one day.

I think we've had our online sword fights about that one already though lol

How about a power liftgate so you can just crawl out the back?

I would like a power window on the rear hatch. Just like the old station wagons of yesterday. Where the window drops down into the hatch door. It would create a nice air flow through the car, & make it more convenient to haul items like push mowers & lumber.

Fancy. And make the gate drop down like a truck or open to the side like 80's and probably older) gm station wagons. While trying to look for a pic of that I found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ll-OsKw0mDQ . I have never seen that before.

I've never seen that style rear door either. Pretty fancy!
