It's happened twice Sunday, early morning pulled in from work the night before parked the car and as I sat there about to shut her off I smell what I'm 99% sure was burning oil. Great I thought, popped the hood looked around with my flashlight and nothing, looked under the car also nothing. When I woke up later Sunday I took her for a little ride to get it warmed up, sure enough I park at home and as it's idling I smell the same smell. Tonight I got to work parked the car and I smelled nothing. I placed a large piece of cardboard under the car, I'll start it on my break and let it run for awhile, shut it down and check the cardboard in the morning. I really hope it's not oil and maybe a piece of plastic on the exhaust, but it did smell like oil. I should add that I couldn't smell anything under the hood only in the car.
