Yes, I will be selling just the MAF sensor housing. I'll put up a for sale thread for it shortly. I know there are a few people just interested in the MAF housing.

Here is the link to the for sale thread:

Actually... The intake temp is consitenty running 2-3 degrees cooler than stock... Probably due to the fact the stock airbox is basically right next to the exhaust manifold that is located at the back of the engine and this intake is located on the opposite side... Even though it is right by the radiator.

How is the 3D printed piece holding up against the heat? Has it been through heavy driving cycles like seen in racing?

This is cool that someones working on something for the us MAF version of the car but, with the stock location of the MAF sensor nothing is gonna look pretty.

Im interested in seeing how hard it would be to go with the map from the over seas version and using one of those intakes. Pipping coming off the tb looks way nicer than keeping the rubber hosing still.

I've only sold I think 3 of the MAF housings. I've had zero complaints about them. Saldy, I have no updates to report of good or bad.

I will say I have a 3d printed pulley bolted right to the water pump of my Metro. It has held up wonderfully which I'm a bit surprised by. Here is an image of it. It is part of a project of mine to make a DIY electric water pump.

Sorry. Been busy with other things lately.

Has had no issues whatsoever. I went with a 3 inch pipe and cone filter. Gave a nice growl during revving and couldn't hear it during normal throttle. Gave a low growl during normal acceleration and really only made noise above 4k rpm. MPG dropped about 2-3mpg. Acceleration felt about the same. Definitely a cosmetic type item. I've recently taken it off to tinker with other things. No complaints with the 3D part at all. It worked great. No issues with heat or anything. Took the car from Oklahoma to Louisiana and back with no issues/deformation from heat.

Here are a few pictures of how I installed it. The mounting was ghetto, but wasn't many places to brace it. It worked, though. No fitment issues. Cone filter had no hood rub.
