Post Timing chain crankshaft sprocket part number?

    Hello ,

i didn't find a timing chain crankshaft sprocket part number in the Mitsubishi ASA tool!
My Mitsubishi dealer couldn't find a part number either.

The part must have somehow gotten onto the crankshaft.
I usually replace all the sprockets when changing the timing chain.

    Motor&AT: 3A92 + CVT, 2016-17

    Picture are only example:

Anyone know anything about this, or know of an alternative?

    Many thanks!

X2 I've got a car out in the snowbank with almost 500,000kms on it. I've never opened up the engine.

The timing chain sprocket seems to be machined on the crank. Part #30 is the crank of the 2017 ES engine. The rpm tone wheel bolts on but no other part is shown for the cam chain driving sprocket.

We want to know what the failure Is / Was / Cause... Did a guide break??? Did the chain break??? Was it getting noisy & you found it loose??? Inquiring Minds want to know??? It seems it is not a common failure, so now we are in Detective Mode!!! Sorry I didn't answer the question about the part #... Is it maybe part of the crank??? Sorry, I've never had a 3A92 apart...
I didn't know what to do, so I didn't do anything

@ nemesis: Why not get yourself a timing chain kit for a SMART that includes the sproket?
Warum holst du dir nicht einen Steuerkettensatz für Smart, da ist doch Alles dabei?

It's a simplex chain! In my previous cars of a different brand, the Simplex chain had stretched considerably after around 180,000 km.

We drive many km, thanks to LPG! That's why I plan to change the timing chain early.. I've already read here in the forum that the rattling when starting is normal.
