Mini update on my Mirage - they sent me an email survey regarding my oil change/alignment status and I responded appropriately. Their staff is superb but I was not satisfied with the rear alignment of the vehicle. I also left a voice message for the dealership owner.
My wife says they called back and left a message on my home phone (I'm at work) so I called and talked to the main mechanic there. He did swear that the alignment was within correct specs on their machine and that the car did not seem to pull after they did the front end alignment. I told him my 3rd party reading was 0.49 on the rear driver toe and that the car still had a right side pull (steering wheel had to point left to go straight down the road) with my wife and kid riding along.
He wasn't sure what that compared to because their machine gives them output in millimeters... I would assume he knew either/or?
Whether it matters or not, I weigh ~245lbs as the driver, my wife and kid weigh a combined ~280lbs on the passenger side. Could that have any major bearing on the pull, being such a small car? Or is this a glaring alignment issue...
Anyhow they scheduled an appointment for Monday 5/9/16 and will give me a loaner while they investigate Fingers crossed!
I will get another alignment check done. Maybe when I get it tinted as I'll have a rental for 3 days while the tint sets.
According to the technician who aligned my car who is also the service foreman; "when you change the alignment of the front wheels it changes the geometry of the rear as well. Changing the rear alignment on a car that is adjustable will also change the geometry of the front alignment."
He basically said the final resulted numbers were all directly related to the front alignment and the rear was not tweaked in any way.

Technically, that's not a pull. A pull is when you let the steering wheel go, and the car turns by itself one way or the other.
Put mine on the alignment rack last week just to check, everything still good. Less than one tenth of one degree toe-in all the way around. My chain and turnbuckle setup is holding up perfectly.

Got a call from our dealership yesterday - it sounds like their lead mechanic talked to a Mitsubishi rep regarding the rear axle issue. They approved an axle replacement without even taking a second look at it, so that's good news. I'm scheduled to drop off the car Monday evening. Hopefully the new axle will be within specs!
