    Painted my ES Wheels

I wanted a different look on the cheap, $10.00 for two cans of Rustoleum Premium Wheel Paint Cheap

Left the tires on, used the card trick

I like the new look, but I may change the vinyl decal... The black takes away from the gun metal gray wheels.

White on white would look great... I would use the white wheel paint from rustoleum... Easier to wash!

Looks good. I like it. I'd keep the decal too though.

If Im being lazy and just want to spray paint my steel wheels black to cover up rust, will it hurt my rotors, tires, or brake shoe if I get spray paint on them?

First thing to think about is taking off the steelies, and treat the project as a delicate version of spraying a rusty old fire pit, old steelie, to improve the looks. Same concept just more steps with the car tire removal process. Maybe splurge on rims, that's the rich man version of the same story

Looks good. Any important prep you did before using Rustoleum paint?

Powerwashed the wheels & scrub brushed them. Let them dry, then I wiped the with a lint free rag and isopropal alcohol & sprayed the with my air compressor to make sure no liguid remained anywhere ( especially around the valve stem and tire )
Applied the cards and painted the back first with six light coats... Flipped them over and applied the cards to the front and did eight light coats.
