I'm a big-time collector of Mitsubishi Model Cars, I find that often when people have an interest in a particular car they quite like to have a model of it, too. I go to Japan once or twice a year and I'm willing to buy some models if there is enough interest. These are Mitsubishi promotional models in 1:64 scale (a bit smaller than Matchbox or Hot Wheels) they come in a pack of 8 colours for (if I remember correctly) just under 3,000 yen. There are usually some individual ones on Ebay.
With each pack of these I usually get a Japanese Mirage brochure as well (free!)
