    Spare tire place is a good idea, but then you have to make a new way to get the sound thru the "cover" and i don't know how i would make that
    And its good though that i don't want to tinker with that kind of mod my self, im happy with the audio system in the car

    Cut a hole through the spare cover, use a speaker grill on the sub so nothing harms the cone.....

    i hope someone could help me with my problem.
    i had already done my setup for my own DIY sub. but my problem is this.

    im using an OEM headunit which is AVT CNE6515-N if im not mistaken.

    then since i installed a headrest with lcd i had to buy an extra output cable for the headunit which is

    now my problem is when i put the RCA for L and R that goes from that cable to the amplifier it doent make any sound but when i put the rca from the tv tuner to the amplifier i can hear a sound.

    BTW that cable has a lable of rear speaker.

    why not bypass that box anyway and only use it for video? it may have an internal switch that only lets sound pass through when and only when there is video to be displayed. either way, going through a box like that will only degrade audio. I would use that box for the video part only.....

    yes i did bypass it, im just tryin to make my ampli work when im connected directly from my headunit through that cable. i just tried connecting the rca that connects to my ampli to isolate the problem.
