Hands down the least favourable review of the Mirage I've seen to date. This one is a 3-way comparo of the up-range £11,999 Mirage 3 against the Skoda Citigo Elegance (ranked 1st) and Suzuki Swift SZ2 (ranked 2nd)
Keep the price of the Mirage 3 in mind as you read their summary.
Liked:
- impressive efficiency
- solidly screwed together
- boot capacity
- eager 1.2L engine
- light, snappy manual shift quality
- plenty of features
Disliked:
- dated styling
- interior materials
- road & engine noise
- "alarming amount of body roll"
- lack of steering feel, and poor self-centering
- ride over sharp bumps

...the Mirage simply isn’t good enough to be a factor in the European small car market. Not only does it look a little dated, it’s hobbled by a low-rent cabin and a driving experience that feels about 10 years out of date. And while it shouldn’t cost the earth to run, it’s not as cheap as the Skoda.
