    Blueprint Oil Filter

Got a ADM52107 from www.blue-print.com as their lookup recommends this filter. However a standard Cup style filter wrench won't fit because the filter is 68mm wrench 67mm. Swapped the filter for ADH22114 listed for handa but same screw hole thread. Anyone used blueprint filters?

Sorry, never heared of blue-print before.

Copied the following from the thread "Oil Filter Part Number"

OVERVIEW OF SUITABLE OIL FILTERS, THESE BEING READILY AVAILABLE IN EUROPE:

    MANN: W610/3

    Bosch: 0 986 452 041

    Fram: PH5949

    Hengst: H97W05

    Knecht / Mahle: OC196

    Purflux: LS910

All of these have anti-drain feature, plus bypass feature as well.
A 65mm x 14 cap fits all of these listed. The cap is the preferred means of removal in our cars.

I don't have any personal preference here, all listed are undoubtedly excellent, well-reputed OEM quality.

Yes, used them for many years; they're particularly good at covering Japanese imports. Loads of Japanese-designed cars use the same M20x1.5 thread for oil filters so it should be okay. Blueprint have a good reputation for quality and part coverage. I personally rate them above the other Asian-centric brands such as First Line and Solid Auto.
